The JONARD MS-426 Mid Span Slit & Ring Tool is a patented, professional-grade fiber optic cable preparation tool designed for safe and precise mid-span access to 5.8 mm–12 mm thick-walled fiber optic cable jackets. It performs both longitudinal (slit) and radial (ring) cuts, allowing technicians to access optical fibers quickly without damaging the buffer tubes or internal fibers. The tool is specially designed for Prysmian ESMF Optical Mini FlexTube® cables and other similar thick-walled fiber optic cables.

Built with 4 precision slitting grooves and 4 precision ring-cutting grooves, the MS-426 provides clean, accurate cable preparation across multiple cable diameters. An indicator line shows the exact blade position for precise cutting, while the compact ergonomic design makes it easy to use in confined spaces. The replaceable blades are engineered for long service life, delivering up to 5,000 cuts before replacement.
