It is engineered to accurately position and crimp front-release connector contacts in Contact Sizes 12 (0.093“), 16 (0.063”), and 20 (0.040") on 12–26 AWG wires. The color-coded turret allows fast identification of the required contact size, while the integrated reference chart provides recommended selector settings for accurate and repeatable crimps.
