Intercable 17250 FBS - Cable Stripper for Vulcanized Semiconductive Layer Usable
Description
cable Stripper is a next-generation professional stripping tool designed for the precise removal of vulcanized, extruded, and bonded semiconductive layers from medium-voltage (MV) power cables. Engineered with an innovative movable roller system, the tool provides exceptionally smooth operation without the need for silicone grease, ensuring cleaner, faster, and more efficient cable preparation.
Suitable for cable diameters from 16 mm to 58 mm, the FBS II features a lightweight yet rugged construction made from light metals and stainless steel for superior durability. Its vice-style cable clamping system ensures secure positioning, while the two-speed axial feed mechanism and adjustable cutting depth (0–1.5 mm) deliver precise, damage-free stripping without affecting the primary insulation. The replaceable hardened steel blade with a 17° cutting angle provides smooth transitions between the semiconductive layer and insulation, making it the ideal solution for professional MV cable installation and maintenance.
